Some Cranium Treasures Sit Derelict: Reasons to Be Mindful of Children
By KJ Hannah Greenberg

Towering others,
Noising off on various windowsills,
Interior spaces, plus outdoor "rooms," forget
Youth's facility with memory.

Princess bathrobes, tiaras, coin girdles,
Others, constructed by financial packages,
Bind asymmetric azimuths beyond
Wee one's heads.

Reach, which clears resolve,
Wearies half-hearted landforms,
Fatigues indolent responses, kills
Commitment in children.

Such grief,
Impacted again and again,
Pierces hope, faith, trust; creates
Fragmented belief.

Discounting adults, otherwise unaware,
Form fluvial masses,
Fail to recall some cranium treasures sit
Derelict.
