Taxidermy Poem 2
By SJ Fowler

(Pact)

-O Yahweh!
their killer dogs looked us over with curiosity
-O levi baaram batzi Tzion
in a strange land
—Genrikh Sapgir

the camp blueprints show seventeen huts
built on the downward southern slope
of the rubbish tip near Clichy-sur-seine

after clashes between the people & the police
the camps are systematically cleared
the Roma are resettled

we hope they don't become in anyway
ill
I help them clear the loiterers & I have fun doing so

Gypsies taste of robbery & pity
my paws dawdle
at the speed of my teeth

{this is the Dobermann}
