Pin Dot

Stan Galloway's most recent poem to appear here was June, published in July 2011 as part of Contributor Series 9: If Men Had Ears. This is a very different poem, yet no less evocative and visual.

Pin Dot
By Stan Galloway

You say you are a pin dot in the cosmos,
tiny fraction of insignificance,
but you forget that monks debated
long through many nights
what might be found
on the head of any given pin,
and when I see you, I know,
uncountable,
all over the pin dot
that is you,
angels must be dancing.
