Contributor Series 9: If Men Had Ears
Damn It
(inspired by Blink-182's "Dammit")

we went to the movies
as a group and I got a seat
next to the girl
I would have done anything
to impress

it was a horror flick
so naturally
I figured she would get scared
and grab onto my arm

but when they found
the disfigured body
in the closet
she grabbed the arm
of the guy
on the other side of her

well
I guess this
is growing up
