Rum Dance
By Rosalyn Marhatta

I fly to your voice on a dolphin wind,
kiss sugar cane notes from your lips,
dance to the sway and harmony
of your hips, drink too much rum punch,
float on mist, catch rainbows
of toucans while steel drums
carouse with the night
as stars samba.

Rosalyn Marhatta's poem Ocean Flight appeared here in April 2011.
