Fortuity

A Molotkov is a writer, composer, filmmaker and visual artist, and a cofounder of the Inflectionist poetry movement (www.Inflectionism.com). Born in Russia, he moved to the United States in 1990 and switched to writing in English. He is the author of several novels, short story and poetry collections and he won the 2010 New Millennium Writings and 2008 E.M. Koeppel fiction contests. He has been nominated for the Pushcart Prize and his work has appeared in more than 20 publications.

I had my bags
your hair was wet
I might have wished you had my umbrella

but I couldn't wish that
how could i?

we never met

how could we
with seven cars between us
on such a long train?
