Left Behind

Ray Sharp's poem Six Nights was the first place winner in the First-Ever vox poetica Poetry Contest. Sometimes something ridiculous can be redeemed into something divine by way of poetry. I think that's the case with this poem tonight.

Left Behind
By Ray Sharp

It will not be the first time
my world has ended.
I have known rapture,
and believe me,
I have been left behind.
