Words of Delirium
By Clarissa McFairy

my life is an overloaded handbag
at the moment
with several pantomimes going on

in different compartments
and some emotional stuff
that has been zipped up too long

Starting to seep out
like words from the mouth
of a delirious patient.

Clarissa McFairy's poem A Poem Is a Dog appeared at vox poetica in June 2010.
