A Breeze on Farmer's Curfew
John Sherer's most recent appearance here was Average, part of Contributor Series 5: Dramatis Personae. He writes about a variety of subjects and today's poem feels a little more cryptic than some of his others. It evokes summer, late summer in fact, and it describes communing with nature, and it's a lovely addition to John's body of work.

I like the feeling of this poem, and I especially like short poems.

This poem is a 'transporter'. The imagery is so exact that the reader is present. Brilliant.
