You know
that I was never meant for mute.
My voice was meant to fly,
my words were meant to sing,
and I was meant to be
the stream of consciousness
that moves the story
from beginning to end
and bends its babble
through all the twists and turns
along the way.
Today marks the 1-year anniversary of vox poetica. Thank you, thank you, thank you for making this community vital. The experiment is still just beginning.

You truly know who you are! That's not easy and I loved hearing how it was sitting where you didn't have to search for it - seven minutes! Fantastic. Reply to this

Yup. If ever a poem described the poet, this one is it. Thanks for a great year, and here's to many, many more!
