Kenneth
Karrer is a Texan. He is also a musician, freelance writer, and member
of Austin Poets at Large (APAL). He retired from teaching in 2008 and
now works for the Texas Education Agency in Austin. His poem is a step
back in time and through memory, a journey through physics and fun, and
a testament to the survivability of raising twins.

Einstein should
Have put his twins
Next to a brownie
Mixing bowl
And let it spin.
When I do that,
Every time I travel
Back
And we're all six
Again.
Then, "Dad!
Don't lick the whole darn thing!
Save some for me, and me!"
No need for

Or
mc
Of course those brownies never do get
Squared.

Love it! My grown children still gather around the bowl to get their chance. Lovely thought at this time of the year or anytime.
