There are things to do today
Worlds to conquer
Smallish things
But things that matter
Little things that make a life:
__ send some poems to that quarterly I found online
__ take out garbage before it rains
__ withdraw cash from the ATM
__ make a list of the lists I need
__ check my pulse
__ check my glucose
__ tweeze hairs from ears and nose
__ buy bananas
__ buy hot patches for my back
__ scramble an egg for lunch
__ check The New York Times
__ check The Nation
__ check what Oprah has to say
__ check the Dow before it falls
__ call out for Chinese food
__ once again, attempt to twitter (or is it tweeter?)
__ find a rhyme for "consecrate"
__ contemplate the meaning of the end.
