Thinking

Clyde Borg is a retired high school teacher and administrator. He has been writing nonfiction and poetry since 1998. He resides in Fords, NJ. This poem gives the reader a potent image of what seems to happen when we stir up an idea or two. May your thoughts always run clear as clean water, particularly when you read Clyde's poem.

Thinking
By Clyde Borg

Rattling around my mind's cellar,
Tinkering amidst grotesque webs,
Disturbing the grayish bottom,
Looking for something within the heap
Of unused matter mired there.
Muddling, thinking.
